O Toulouse...

O Toulouse...
o mon pais.

Here comes a very different "serie" of cards. I must have been homesick, or maybe I realized that Toulouse, the pink city I am from, is a mine of ideas for very simple blank cards.

Now this post is going to be a little different, I have to show you around...

First, the Musee des Augustins, very famous for his gothic style, housed inside an Augustinian convent.

And now the card: the black and white picture is printed on linen which gives it this plain, clean style...

This is a very famous shot of Toulouse by night... the view of the lights reflecting on the Garonne, the river that goes through the city.

This is what it looks like in a card...

Along the Garonne, all over town, you have little gardens or paths, lining the river...

Comes spring, all the students and tourists go stroll on them, or sit on the grass to catch the first rays of sun.

This card captures a view of a stairway going down to the river with the Pont Neuf in the background...

The most famous view of Toulouse has to be the Place du Capitole, where the mayor office is, and the market on Sunday.

And here is the card:

I hope you enjoyed this express visit of my hometown, Toulouse.

Until next time...
