Snow Scene Christmas Cards

Another amazing cutting file from Einnej a beautiful snow scene cut with my  Silhouette Cameo.

I used two different designer papers to make the background of the snow scene, and stamped one of the sentiment in Stampin'up Pool Party green.

The other one is a sticker.

Thank You So Much

Thank You So Much

My oh my, those silhouette studio cutting files that Bird is creating are just amazing.

Here is the one she posted this morning, how beautiful is that???

The little slots for the ribbons are right on! Perfectly positioned and of a size that would fit the most common ribbons.

I admire the way she ties that most perfect bow in the center.

She is definitively an artist.

Here is my take on it, no surprise there, Tiffany blue ribbon and Stampin'up Pool Party ink.

Do stop by Bird's blog to see the other magnificent cards she posted.

Jen's 23rd...

Jen's 23rd...

I got it! My new Silhouette Cameo has arrived, just on time for my daughter's 23rd Birthday.

Now, let's be honest, this was my first try, so nothing OH AH about it, but I was amazed by the possibilities.

I used a cut file for the "happy birthday" circle and paste the numbers on the inside white folder.

I learnt afterwards that I could actually make an A2 card with that cut file in "ungrouping" the outside shape (square) and the middle circle.

I had to add a little patch to make that card an A2, and I added a few stamped dragonflies, with a Michael's stamp in a Stampin'Up Pool Party ink.

Here is another card I made with another Silhouette cutting file, very similar to the last one:

It is a gift card holder on the inside.

Much more Silhouette cards to come as I am just starting enjoying this new tool...

Until next time...
