Piano Keyboard Thank You

Piano Keyboard Thank You

Because I seem to never have enough of those piano cards... (cf posts: 43, 254, 303)

A change to my usual Piano Birthday card, this time, I made a thank you one.

The web is full of piano keyboards template to print. I made mine to fit a 4bar size card (47/8 inch).

I then printed a sentiment and cut it in 1/2 inch tag. I rounded the corners and propped it with 3D glue dots.

To finish it nicely, I added a red ribbon.

The inside is lined in white linen.

Until next time!

Birthday with a Piano

BIRTHDAY...
... with a piano.

Ever since I made that pop-up piano card back in the day (cf post #43), I have been in love with birthday card in a music instrument...

Here is the piano pop up card I am talking about...

...the template is at:

http://afrenchaccent.blogspot.com/2011/11/piano.html

I used the same idea of an open music sheet for my new piano card.

The web is full of keyboard and sheet music images. You can choose the one that fit you best.

You can also choose a different accent than the little flowers I added, music notes for example.

I used a black card-stock and drew freely a shape of a Grand piano.

The keyboard and piano music sheet were downloaded from the  web.

I just cut around the sheet music with a cutter, leaving 1/4 inch top and bottom.

You will need to bend a little the sheet music to have the impression that the music piece is open.

Until next time...

Piano Birthday Card

PIANO...
... birthday card. There is something to be said for pop up cards. They just look out of this world.

This one is very easy to make... once you have the template, except you need to be very tidy when you cut out the keyboard and around the music sheet.

Since the card in the background is black, if your hand is not steady, the non-straight cut will appear magnified.

Still, the result is pretty convincing, as piano goes....

I attached below the template you will need to make this card.

Not being computer savvy, I am not sure you can download this template right out of my blog.

If you have a problem with it, contact me and I'll send it to you.

The top piano image is for the outside of the card and the bottom part is the inside insert. Just follow the explanations below it.

The size is perfect for an A2 card. You just need a black card-stock and if you want to go the extra mile, you can also run the top part in an embossing folder or add two little piece of embossed card-stock on each side of the piano picture.

Until next time...
