Baby Onesies
Baby Onesies.
Once you make one of those and realize how easy it is, you will not stop making them!
If you make a A2 card, you will need a 4 1/8 by 11 card stock.
Fold the card stock in two, mark with a pencil at 1in from the top and 1in toward the inside on both side.
With a round punch, make a half circle for the neck and at both legs opening...
From the top of the leg opening, cut a straight line to the point you marked before with a pencil.
What is left to do is decorating: add a bow and buttons, or two little flowers.
Around the neck and legs and arms opening, add a little lace made with a scalloped circle punch.

Teddy Bear on a Line
Welcome Baby Bird House
Welcome Baby Bird House.
Another welcome baby card... it was just a pretext to use this ITTY BITTY birdhouse stamp and the little teddy bear punch.
I just love the way it is hanging by an ear...
I used my Fiskars cloud punch and positioned a cloud with dimensionals.
I added a sun made with a scalloped punch.
The bow and the teddy bear are punched out of blue card stock and added on top. I drew free hand the clothes line, and made a little clothes pin with a brown marker.
The sentiment was printed on my computer.

I'll Always Love You Flower
I'll Always Love You.
With the Heart Punch all over the page from Martha Stewart, I punched out a flower (or a clover), and added a little button in its center to anchor the green thread.
On the bottom part, I anchored the thread under the sentiment stamped with a ITTY BITTY stamp.
I added a touch of color with a red copic marker, and a slim white ribbon on the spine of the card.
The white linen liner can be seen through the kraft card.
-163-Until next time.
Welcome Baby
Welcome Baby
I guess I should have taken a picture of this card open, because trying to explain it with words is going to be very difficult.
Bear with me.
You take a piece of card stock and fold it in three part, the middle one being the size of a A2 panel card, 4 1/8 by 5 1/2. The other dimensions are open to discussion, you can decide how big a flap you want to make.
With an edger punch, cut the edge of the fold and make it a decorative edge; I chose a Fiskars edge punch.
On the bottom flap, I printed "welcome baby" and added a doodled line and a punched little heart,
To adorn the top flap, I glued a pink teddy bear on a white oblong piece of linen, matted on a color card stock and tucked a ribbon underneath.
The middle part of the card is lined up with white linen to leave room for a message.

Oh Holy Night
Oh Holy Night.
After making the cards on posts158 and 160, I was still in love with a wall full of frames as a holidays card.
HO HO HO, yes, but how about all the wonderful words of Holidays songs? You know, the ones you long for and dread all at the same time...
Well, I showcased a few of those in little decorated frames of different colors. I used a lot of glitter, copic markers, and punched stars...
the anchors of the frames are made with two different flower punches.

I was redoing a wall of picture frames in my living room and my mind was still thinking Holidays Cards. This is how I came up with these two cards.
HO HO HO: 3 H, 3 O, and the perfect font. I cut out the letters with a square punch and matted the little frames first in silver then in black, and anchored them with a bow punched with a Martha Stewart punch: don't they look like little frames on a wall?

-158-I took it one step further.
I was browsing fonst like I always do, and found one called Santa time:
-160-
Now, look closely:
Yep, the letters are made of little Santas holding each other... well, I think the one in the "H" is pretty drunk, if you want my opinion.
You got to love those fonts!
Until next time.
Deck the Halls
Deck the Halls
Same idea than the last posting, except that, instead of hanging the ornaments from a dotted line, I chose to hang them from words in a christmas song:
falalalala.
Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy to design this card with the preprinted words.
I used a silver paper with trace of white, and it made me think of snow on top of ornaments.
How fitting.

Happy Hanukkah
Let it go.
I Believe
I Believe.
Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actress, not only because of the way she acts (who can forget Breakfast at Tiffany's), but because of her humanitarian work.
Close to 10 years after her death, she is very much present, because of her undying image, and because of the legacy in charity works still in operation today.
Nobody could have said those words below better:
