Cactus Birthday

A cactus birthday, loaded with pretty pink flowers...

Thank you Loll for the inspiration,
(http://www.stampingwithloll.com/2013/04/have-sweet-day.html)

The grass and the cactus are made with my silhouette Cameo. They were both part of a cutting file that I "ungrouped" and resize to fit my card.

Let me know if you want to use those, I love to share!

The flowers were punched with a Michaels mini punch and the fence is cut from a Papertrey Ink die.

The 3D foam stickies helped give everything some dimension.

Birthday Cake Card French Doors

A cute little card!

I found that idea on Pinterest, but changed it to an A2 card that actually open to leave room for your own personal message.

I used my Silhouette cameo and designed a cutting file I can email you if you decide you want to try to make this card.

I added some pink curtains cut by hand and held with a pink ribbon, and a piece of pinkish card stock run through a Fiskars border punch as a valance.

The birthday cake is an ornament I kept from a store bought card, and I propped it with  3D foam stickers.

Until next time...

Blue Skies Ahead

When I saw this card on Pinterest, I knew I had to make it. I use the Hero Art sky stamp and a bicycle cutting file from my Silhouette Cameo.

Check out Kimberley Makortoff blog, Art Keeps Me Sane.

This was a piece of cake to make, the sentiment was printed beforehand, and I added a sun with one of Stamp by Judith stubby.

Here is the result...

If Dogs Go to Heaven...

It is not "If", it is "when"... since everybody knows they do go to Heaven.

A few month ago, we lost our 16 years old Golden retriever, and two months after, our Malamute followed.

That left us with only one dog, our blue Weimaraner, and the house felt terribly empty.

At that time, my good friend talked to me about the Rainbow Bridge poem, and it was right on.

I found this card on the Laundryroomstudio blog (http://www.laundryroomstudio.ca/blog/files/ifdogsgotoheaven.php)
and Shirlann made this card for a friend of hers that lost her dog.

It is the sweetest attention, a person who just lost her pet would surely appreciate.

The inside would read:... your dog will be waiting for you.

I use my silhouette cameo to cut the dog and my Fiskars cloud punch.
The sentiment was printed on kraft paper.

Our house is back to normal (3 dogs) since we rescued a Redbone Coonhound a week ago and my son rescued puppy is with us for the summer... a 2 months old lab/german Shepard puppy, a little girl full of mischief.

Until next time!

Believe in Yourself

A little motivation in this card, with a flowery border I had fun to design.

I used Martha Stewart clear stamps for the stems and added some stickers for the flowers.. hard to see on the picture, but they shine and shimmer.

I tied a ribbon using the rabbit ears method, and chose a background in the same shade of color.

The sentiment was printed.

Congratulations Split Flowers

A wonderful idea from Beverley at Unikostudio.blogspot.co.uk.

Check out her blog, she is a talented artist.

I printed the sentiment on Kraft paper, and added a piece of card stock where I stamped a flower twice and then split it.

Using 3D stickies, I propped the top layer.

Another CAS card, in neutral color...

Congratulations Butterflies

Butterflies!

I haven't used those for a long time. I got my idea on the web, but unfortunately I didn't keep the website address...

I used a die cut for the butterfly and an old book I found at the swap meet.

The sentiment is stamped on.

Not much going else... a CAS card.

Boy Baby Card with Mobile

Well, I am back! 10 new cards in the past few days, I was just full of ideas, from Birthday cards to New Baby cards, via Congratulations, etc...

This Boy Baby Card with Mobile came to life after I found in my stash a Spellbinder Shapeability "Play Time" little die cuts I hadn't use yet.

My good friend Mary Rose dropped some leftover card stocks she wasn't using and that made beautiful little toys to hang from the clouds.

I couldn't decide which way to make the card, I tried landscape and portrait...

-364-

The sentiment are rub-on from Scrap-ease, and the clouds are made with my favorite Fiskars cloud punches.

The cardstock is from a Me & My Big Idea pack.

One card posted.. 9 to go!

Until next time...
