Lighthouse Birthday Card

Lighthouse Birthday Card

I felt nautical this morning, maybe because of the nice tribute Debra did to me on facebook. She purchased a nautical card for her dad father's day and she posted a picture of him holding it with the most beautiful smile....

I love to see the effect my cards have on people...

So here is my new card... still using the Cricut Life's a Beach cartridge, a lighthouse this time and some flying seagulls...

The sentiment is made with a die cut on grey card stock.

Father's Day

Father's Day...

Through a porthole... Those two cards are another version of the card #300, the hardest part being wrapping the "porthole" part.

Two peaceful scene for a relaxed father's day...

I used the cricut "Life's a Beach" cartridge for the chair and the sailboat, and used scrap of papers for the background. The cloud is punched with my all time favorite tool, the fiskars clloud punch.

Until next time...

Father's Day sailboat

Father's Day Sailboat.

As i was looking for a sailboat sticker in my stack for the previous card, I fell upon this embellishment I had for age but never used because I was waiting for the right occasion.

Well, today is the day!

Another father's day card with a sailboat, but this clipper had to steel the focal point.

Nothing should take away from the majesty of this piece.

How about making her sail on one of the seven seas and catching a snapshot?

On a sky blue background, I torn the outlines of the waves out, and added half a lone cloud to counterbalance my one masted schooner.

The embellishment is from Jolee's and I used my Fiskars mini cloud punch.

The sentiment is printed before hand with Architect font.

Here is a second version...

Until next time.
