Caught a Bug?

Caught a Bug? Get well soon!

Another funny card, unfortunately the picture doesn't give it credit.

I used a Bug Stick from Stamps by Judith inside another of her stamp, a mini jar.

I then colored a little with a blue Copic and added a 3D crystal Lacquer that when dry, look like glass.

I then framed the picture in black and in red.

S {ICK} ?

S {ICK} ?...
...feel better soon!

Another wonderful find on Pinterest! (Don't you love that place...
After Facebook, here is another dangerous way of loosing a lot of your time.)

Anyhow, this card is a card with a twist! Once you open it, you have a...

...kleenex box stuffed with a tissue!

What a clever idea!  Lorri Helling on her blog,  "Confessions of a Stamping Addict", has very easy directions on how to makes this tissue box.

Here is the direct link:

Unfortunately the stamp I used doesn't have a brand on... I got it at Joann, of this I am sure.

I also used my Martha Stewart Baker's twine. It always add a beautiful final touch to any card.

Until next time...

Get Well Soon

Get Well Soon.

I found that paper with writing on it, and thought that it will be pretty to punch some clouds out of it.

I stuck a sun under, added some dotted line under the clouds to mimic the rain, and used my prettiest handwriting for the sentiment.

Life is a Beautiful Ride

Life is a Beautiful Ride.

Oh yes, it is... you look back on the years behind you, and funny as a human being is, you only remember the good times.

Better it is this way, or the human race will be extinct... if a woman could just remember the pain of childbirth. Right?

No, what she does remember, is the first time she held her baby in her arm, the first time he smiled, or the first time he handed her a flower he just picked up in the garden.

Yes, life is a beautiful ride. And a fast one too....

I chose to use  Kraft paper and added a stamped sailboat from ITTY BITTY as well l as the stamped sentiment from the same set on white linen.

I added two flower brads and used a stencil and a white marker to draw waves under this sailboat on its wonderful ride....

Here is another version of the same card:

Get well soon.

I added a Papertrey Ink stamped sentiment and a lone wavy line made with a white marker and a stencil.

The sun and the cloud are made with punches.

Until next time.
