Silhouette Birthday Balloons

The possibilities with the Silhouette Cameo are endless, and the web is full of beautiful cutting files and very easy to follow tutorials.

My favorite tutorial so far is the one telling you how to make a cutting file for Silhouette when you start with an image from the web.

I pinned this tutorial on my pinterest "Silhouette Cameo" board,
(   http://pinterest.com/pin/202943526931194298/   )

I plan to add tutorials and cutting files to this board, so check often.

This is a birthday card I made as another try...

I simply glued the negative part of the cut on a Tiffany blue paper.

Have your cake.... and eat it too

Have your cake...
... and eat it too

I always like toying with dimensional card, or adding a "peeking" window..

I found that wonderful Outside Window stamp from Arts Impressions, and the nice thing about it, is that it couples with a whole set of "window views".

It was hard to decide on a few, so I chose a "happy birthday" one and a "new baby" one.

Here is the inside view:

And a close up of the Window to the World as it is called.

Once I finished coloring the two stamps, I just added a Sparkle' n Sprinkle sentiment on the outside. Since the only thing you see when the card is closed is the cake, it was wonderfully fitting!

Until next time....

Birthday Tree

DO YOU MEAN...

... you've never heard of a Birthday tree?

Look below, here is one of those. Actually this tree is as versatile as a card can be.

You can use all kind of mini stamps and it can become a Money Tree, a St Patrick's Day Tree, a Halloween tree, a pear Tree (how boring, though), and the list goes on and on...

Well, mine is a Birthday tree, complete with party hat, cupcakes, balloons and gifts.

This wonderful tree stamp is another great idea from Stamps by Judith. It is called Tree for All seasons.

The little stamps or Stubbies are also from the same company.

I also used some 3D Crystal Lacquer on top of the coloring to make the little images stand out.

I know you cannot tell on this picture... you are going to have to trust me on that...

The pile of gift is a cut out image of the larger Pile Of Gift stamp from the same company.

Until next time....

Let it go.

Let it go.

Because they are day where the past comes back to haunt you.

Because they are days where what you thought were long forgotten things are coming back to the surface.

Because sometimes you see someone loosing its time with something that belong in the past.

I made that card.

A Sparkle'n Sprinkle balloons bouquet stamp, a white moon copic marker and a very simple font for a pre printed message.
