Birthday Tree

DO YOU MEAN...

... you've never heard of a Birthday tree?

Look below, here is one of those. Actually this tree is as versatile as a card can be.

You can use all kind of mini stamps and it can become a Money Tree, a St Patrick's Day Tree, a Halloween tree, a pear Tree (how boring, though), and the list goes on and on...

Well, mine is a Birthday tree, complete with party hat, cupcakes, balloons and gifts.

This wonderful tree stamp is another great idea from Stamps by Judith. It is called Tree for All seasons.

The little stamps or Stubbies are also from the same company.

I also used some 3D Crystal Lacquer on top of the coloring to make the little images stand out.

I know you cannot tell on this picture... you are going to have to trust me on that...

The pile of gift is a cut out image of the larger Pile Of Gift stamp from the same company.

Until next time....

Where Has the Time Gone

Where Has the Time Gone.

Another birthday, another holiday and you cannot prevent your self from thinking, we were just there, but where has the time gone?

I used the Sprinkle'n Sparkle Birthday stamp set and used my copic markers to add touches of color.

The top sentiment is highlighted with sponged ink.

The edge is cut with a Martha Stewart edger punch.

Thank You So Much Line of Gifts

Thank You So Much, Line of Gifts.

Sometimes a tool is all you need to create a whole line of cards.

This Martha Stewart gifts in a line edger punch is one of those.

The cut out is very delicate and if you add a pretty background color, they seem to stick out of the page.

I went back to my Tiffany blue paper and added some mini punched stars from Recollections.

I then stamped yet another sentiment from the Sparkle'n Sprinkle Thanks a Bunch set in a Tiffany blue ink.

In shortening the border with the gifts lined up, and changing the message, you can do a whole different card altogether. For example, below a shower announcement:

Now, if you prefer a baby blue card stock for a shower, here is another version of it:

N O E L Gifted

NOEL gifted.

The trick in that card is to find the perfect font. I actually owned that clear stamp alphabet for a while but never tried it.

I can tell you this will not be the only time I use it. I just love it!

I stamped it on a kraft card stock in white and tied a Christmas ribbon.
