Sea Scene Birthday

I am posting a last card for today... so I can go back to making new ones!

This one makes use of embossing folders and cuttlebug.

The clouds one is a Sizzix, and the distressed stripes a Cuttlebug.

The sentiment  stamp is from papertrey ink, and by now you should recognize my Fiskars cloud punch... my all time favorite!

I added 3 little pylons and some baker's twine.

Miss you Raindrops

A miss you raindrops card... with my always handy Fiskars cloud punch.

I also used a Sparkle n Sprinkle raindrops stamp, and some dimensionals under the cloud.

Adding a simple sentiment printed on the card, and rounding the corners finish it beautifully.

Baby Card with Bears

From time to time, I feel like making newborn cards.

This Martha Stewart bear punch embosses at the same time.

I glued my line of bears between two embossed lines made using the Sizzix embossing folder in my cuttlebug.

I added a mini bow made using a fork; this way it always comes out very regular.

Rounding the corners of the card softened the look of it.

Butterfly Silver Card

A butterfly silver card that can be used for many occasions. This is why I didn't print any sentiment.

The butterfly comes from a Cheery Lynn designs die cut, using the cuttlebug. I then taped it back on the inside of the silver card stock.

The detail at the bottom of the silver was cut with Spellbinder nestability labels 19.

I chose a pale green ribbon to finish it.

Snowy Scene Christmas Card

A snowy scene from Bird's cutting file.

Check my previous cards made with similar cutting files (411, 408, 403), all from birdscard.com

Once again, I used the stampsbujudith stick and stubby stamps to ass snowflakes to the night scene.

Adding a piece of yellow card stock in the windows, add some warmth to it... someone is home!

Christmas Ornaments

Another one! Some christmas ornaments cut with my Silhouette Cameo, from a cutting file Bird posted this week.

Check out her blog, www.birdscards.com

I used a silver and black card stock, and a snowflake "stick" stamp from stampbyjudith to give it some sparkle.

Ho Ho Ho!

A Christmas card although we are still before thanksgiving...

I used some snowflakes eyelets, and a lot of glitter.

Please Don't Start Buying Cats

Happy Birthday,
please don't start buying cats.

I made this card for a special lady who owns a ranch in Ramona.
She must have 80 horses there and 9 dogs roaming around.

Now this card makes sense, doesn't it?

Happy Birthday Doctor!

Happy Birthday Doctor!

I needed a card for my daughter's boyfriend, a very smart 24 year old in medical school.

This is what I came up with after browsing the internet for ideas.

I used a white linen, a black and silver card stock for the stethoscope and pen in the pocket.

With my cuttlebug and the Lifestyle Crafts Circle, I cut the different circles.

The button was made out of pearlized paper and the Papertrey Ink Buttons cutting die.

The hardest part was to figure out the folding to make it look even... (I am a little size challenged.)

But I made it and loved the result.

Father's Day Bendy Card

Father's Day Bendy Card

This is another cutting file from Bird (cardsbybirds.com); the card is pretty easy to assemble once your silhouette cuts all the 3 parts, the card itself, the front of it and the little stars.

It stands on its own once it is folded.

The size of the card is smaller than an A2, but since I wasn't mailing it, I didn't bother altering the size.

I think it is pretty cute!

Every cloud

Every cloud...
has a silver lining

If there is a tool I do not regret buying, that would be the Fiskars cloud punch.
I have been using it over and over, mixing and matching the two size of clouds I have.

Cut out of white linen and on a kraft card stock with dimensional stickies, it has the best effect....

With Love

With Love

It has been a while since I haven't posted anything.

Well, I am back!

Here is a cutting file from Birds, (birdscards.com), I used gold and silver card stock.

Resizing the cutting file to make A2 cards, and adding a white linen insert were the two alterations I made to Bird's card.
