I'm back!!!!

After a long absence, I am ready to post a few of my latest cards.

First, one inspired by a dear friend whose full of wisdom posts on facebook always make my day,
"Some see a weed, some see a wish"

And here again, just on time for the Christmas season that starts the day after Halloween, a card that puts in perspective what the Holiday Season is all about
"Holiday to do list"

This one is inspired by an old card of mine (# 136, Nov 28 20211), with so many possible uses,
"You make me smile"

This following card started actually as a mini card that I would put on top of gifts and chocolate boxes. I just love the message there and chose to make full size cards that could be used for New Year, birthdays, or else...
"May you have love..."

The card I used for the past Valentine's day, made with my Silhouette:
"Hearts everywhere"

Another Christmas Tree message (cf my #48 of Nov 10, 2011).
It is a lot of fun to play with fonts and create those...
"When you choose Joy"

Valentine's Day Chocolate Holder

Valentine's Day, Chocolate Holder.

Here we go again! A new Valentine's day roll around and we are thinking care package for our girls in College.

This time, we had a crowd to please! So I made simple little square cards with a printed sentiment, stuck a See's candy chocolate heart and drew a stem to this "flower" before adding a piece of baker's twine as a finishing touch.

It doesn't get simpler than that.

Hearts and Butterfly

Hearts and Butterfly.

On a kraft card stock, I added a piece of green striped paper that reminded me of a patch of grass.

I stamped three flowers from Katie and Co and hid the flower part under three pink punched hearts that I lined up with a white marker all around.

I added a punched butterfly made with a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and doodled a dotted line under it.

I then stamped "I'll always love you", a ITTY BITTY stamp and colored the heart with my red copic marker.

To finish the card, I added a dotted line in white around the top edge.

Valentine's Day Bird on a Line

Valentine's day Bird on a Line.

I stamped the bird in very light blue and cut it out leaving a very slim margin around.

On a white linen card stock, I added 2/3 blue card stock for the sky, a 1/3 kraft card stock and at the limit between the two card stocks, I added a piece of baker's twine.

I punched out a big cloud (or part of it) with the Fiskars cloud punch and added a small white cloud made with the small Fiskars punch.

To finish the card, I added three mini heart (Recollections mini punch) and a sentiment stamped in red with a Craft Smart stamp.

This is a 4bar size card.

Valentine's day Tiffany Blue

Valentine's Day Tiffany Blue

This card is in white card stock, with three punched heart in Tiffany Blue paper with a small white heart punch in the middle.

I added a band of blue paper at the bottom and a band of white with a punched edge (stampin'up edge punch).

The sentiment is from a Craft Smart stamp and I used two shiny brad to hold it.

Bird with Love Note

A lightly stamped bird in blue carrying a love note sealed with a punched heart.

I pre printed the sentiment with my computer.

Very simple card to make.

I'll Always Love You Flower

I'll Always Love You.

With the Heart Punch all over the page from Martha Stewart, I punched out a flower (or a clover), and added a little button in its center to anchor the green thread.

On the bottom part, I anchored the thread under the sentiment stamped with a ITTY BITTY  stamp.

I added a touch of color with a red copic marker, and a slim white ribbon on the spine of the card.

The white linen liner can be seen through the kraft card.

Valentine Chocolate Cards

Valentine Chocolate cards...

Here we go again, Valentine's day is on the horizon and it is our queue to organize a care package party for our boys in college.

I was trying to find an idea of a card for the moms to write a little note for their sons, and add a little something for the boys too.

Chocolate is the answer.

I went with a square card (Valentine) red card stock, and added a white shiny sheet that I first run through my cuttlebug with a mini hearts embossing folder.

I then used 3 different heart punches and added my See's Candy chocolate heart with a double faced tape.

The dotted lines around the heart openings and the piece of Valentine's ribbon finish the card nicely.

On the inside, I added a punched white card stock and I doodle little red dots around.
