Just for you

Just for you...

To keep in the spirit of Mother's Day, another loving thought, two daisies in a white vase.

With a very simple little sentiment from Sprinkle n' Sparkle, I guess it could also be used for a Birthday card.

I found the inspiration for this card on Angela Maine's beautiful blog:

Here is a close up of the flowers.

I used a die cut from Provocraft for the flowers and stems.

The heart of the flowers is made with a dimensional paint called Paper-Pen from Viva.

Thank you Splitcoatampers!!!

Graduation... a last hick-up....

GRADUATION...

... a last hick-up.

Well just for this week at least. I can't say the Graduation virus won't strike again but for now, this is it.

Two more little simple cards, with popped up graduation classics (a cap and a diploma), inside a circular sentiment, you can download below:

It doesn't get any simpler than that.

I chose silver and black, but this card could be customized to any high school or college colors.

Looking at the pictures below, I just realized I forgot to highlight the tassel and the cord on the diploma in gold... just close your eyes and imagine.

I am still using that $1 stamp set, my favorite when we talk graduation.

Thanks Heaven for Little Girls

THANKS HEAVEN...
... for little girls.

Of all the cards I made, this might be my all time favorite one... There is everything you have to look forward to when a little girl arrives:

- the flowers she will pick up for you in the garden,

- the pink ribbon everywhere,

- the pink BOW in her hair,

- the little dress hanging in the summer breeze,

and the hearts she will leaves all around when she gets hold of a paper and a crayon.

The clothe line is an Itty Bitty stamp, and I mainly used my Copics to color the many hanging things.

To give a little dimension to the background, I scored vertical lines every 1/2 inch of the white card-stock in the background.

The bow punch is a Martha Stewart one and the little heart is one of those $1 Michaels punch.

Birthday Wishes

BIRTHDAY...
...wishes

Is there a better way to say Happy Birthday than with flowers?

Any flowers will do, yellow, white, multicolored center ones.

Below are a few of those flowers bearing cards.

The sentiment was printed before assembling the cards.

I embossed a piece of white card stock with the Little Hearts Cuttlebug Embossing folder and attached it to the bottom part of the cards.

The flowers are assembled with two punched flowers (Punch Bunch) and a brad.

They form a pretty border and allow to hide the edge of the embossed card stock.

I also scored twice horizontally at the edge of this embossed card stock.

Love

Love.

Another simple card: I run the white card stock in a cuttlebug embossing folder, added a red punched heart and a "love" sticker.

Thank You Precious

THANK YOU...
... precious.

Each time I look at that card, I cannot prevent myself to smile.

I made those as a gift and when my friend saw those, she said:
"I cannot give those away."

Doesn't that kind of defy the purpose of owning thank you cards?

I told her there were plenty from where this one comes from.

The round sentiment is part of a Sparkle n Sprinkle Thanks a Bunch stamps set.

The silver card stock is from paperandmore.com, and I just punched a circle allowing the sentiment to peek through.

I also tied a shinny white ribbon under the silver card stock.

Sympathy

SYMPATHY...

It is always hard to find the words to help alleviate the pain of somebody who just loss a love one.

Maybe a simple card is worth a thousand words.

I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the tree. The silver card stock is from paperandmore.com.

The butterfly is made out of silver card stock with a Martha Stewart punch.

I printed the sentiment and cut it out with a Lifestyle crafts party flags die cuts.

I also added a very slim white ribbon bow on the flag and a silvery ribbon at the bottom.

Until next time.
